ATV Legislation

Make the riding of ATVs (all terrain vehicles) as safe as possible for children by urging passage of Chandler's Law [H3681] - legislation that would require basic safety equipment, appropriately sized ATVs and the completed of a rider safety education course.

Child Abuse

Preserve funding for the South Carolina Child Abuse Medical Response System - the statewide program to address the medical needs of children who are suspected or confirmed victims of child abuse or neglect.

SC Cigarette Tax

Dedicate the proceeds from the proposed increase in South Carolina's cigarette tax to a healthcare trust fund for Medicaid, SCHIP and other vital healthcare programs.

Medicaid

Preserve funding for Medicaid and SCHIP, including programs that serve children with special needs.
